Phật thật ngự trong lòng
Đêm ngày thường soi sáng
Thờ Tâm Phật bên trong
Hơn trăm ngàn hình tượng.
Buddha
The true Buddha dwells in everybody’s heart
That shines all the time
It is preferable to worship the internal Buddha’s mind
Than any other external Buddha’s statues.
Phật chẳng thương ai, chẳng ghét ai
Phật cùng chúng sanh vốn chẳng hai
Chúng sanh luyến ái tâm nhân ngã
Chư Phật từ bi tánh bản lai.
The Buddha is not a person who loves or hates others
The essence of a Buddha and a regular one is homogeneous.
The Buddha is inherently compassionate,
Whereas the worldling is tied to their ego mind.
Pháp
Pháp Phật khai thị vốn Như Nhiên (1)
Trở lại (2) ngay đây (3) pháp hiện tiền (4)
Thoát khỏi thời gian (5), điên đảo tưởng
Tâm không Bậc trí tự chứng liền (6)

(6) Paccattam veditabbo viññūhi.
Dhamma
The Dhamma preached by the Buddha is inherently well-explained( 1)
That is not only verifiable (2), applicable (3), and perceivable (4)
But also immediate, timeless and insane thoughts
This results the wise’s realisation of the non-attached mind (6).
Thiền - Tịnh
Không thiền, không tịnh, Ta cũng không,
Chẳng kiếm, chẳng tìm, Pháp liền thông
Chỉ tại phân vân Tâm khốn khổ
Sao bằng rỗng lặng Tánh thong dong.
Meditation - Tranquillity
There isn't any meditation, peace, or “I”,
When there is no desire, the Dhamma becomes automatically tranquil
The mind is anguished as a result of sceptical doubt,
Which is never comparable to the mental state of pure calmness and peace.

Muốn tịnh tâm chẳng tịnh
Buông ra ngay đó an
Trong lòng còn trước niệm
Sao thấy được Niết-bàn?
Mind
It is harder for the wandering mind to settle down the more you desire to repress it
Only when one relinquishes all desire will it become instantly peaceful
